Hey there! It’s almost time to go back to school, so I went online to some of my favorite stores and pulled out some pieces that really showed off my style. If you’re interested in getting to know my style, then, this is the perfect post for you! It's back to school but make it fashionable!
(Categories/ Stores respectively: Shirts/ ASOS, Pants/ Zara, Graphic Tees/ ASOS, Shorts/ Zara, Skirts/ Urban Outfitters, Dresses/ ASOS, Jumpsuits/ Urban Outfitters, Hair Accessories/ Urban Outfitters)

I never shy away from wearing a nice shirt to school. It would be a waste not to wear the clothes I like that, which are on the more formal/ dressy side just to conform to athleisure. You just have to let your body know that being confident and dressed nicely can be comfy, also. I love collars and different necklines and silhouettes. Those factors can be just as dramatic as a graphic, print, or fabric. Also, try tucking your shirt into your pants, rolling up your sleeves, tying your shirt, or even layer to give more thought and dimension into your look.

I mean I love myself a classic jean, but I think sometimes we can do better than that. I find that you can wear comfortable bottoms that aren't leggings or sweatpants. Wide-leg, cropped, and culotte styles are all different approaches, but you can also experiment with straight-cut jeans, mom jeans, wide jeans, or bootcut jeans. There are so many variations you can experiment to find your best fit. Types of materials are vast, so you can something both cute and comfortable. I also recommend trying bold colors, stripes, plaid, and more.

If you're not totally into dressing up, go pick up a graphic tee. A couple of these in your closet can be a game changer. The sky's the limit. You can find tees that include your favorite brands, movies, bands, or just a stunning design that speaks to you. Some days call for a graphic tee, jeans, and some clean sneakers, which in the end is easy, practical, and cute.

I mainly wear jean shorts, because they go with everything, but you know me, I don't like to limit myself. Currently, I am loving gingham. I think it looks great on skirts and shorts, especially in very gentle colors. The carpenter skirt is, at the moment, my favorite type of skirt to wear. Also, don't forget that both of these items of clothing can be in denim, suede, and corduroy. I just recommend getting a skirt in all of these textiles, because you will be looking cute this fall!

I have a very strong love for overalls. They are comfortable and keep everything secure. I actually own the yellow one. In the warmer months, you can wear a t-shirt underneath or a tank top. For the winter, I die over wearing turtlenecks with them! It's just magic for me! Probably, two of my favorite things are turtlenecks and overalls. Jumpsuits or rompers can have there own character, too. Most of the ones I've seen out there are boring and have the same silhouette, but I found many options online at places like Urban Outfitters. There's sleeve and sleeveless and many fabrics and designs offered. I'm really into jumpsuits and rompers that have a vintage feel to them. I just think you don't really see them expressed in that way anymore. The same pretty much goes for dresses, in my thoughts. Pinafore dresses and dresses that are meant to be put over other shirts are my absolute favorite. I own so many of them. It looks amazing in the colder seasons when you can, of course, wear a turtleneck. I don't have these pictured, but denim dresses and babydoll dresses are currently what I'm looking for in stores because of the vintage and nostalgia feel.

The last section is hair accessories which may seem kinda uninteresting, but it's starting to grow on me a lot. I have short hair and putting accessories in it can just elevate my whole look and confidence. Very dramatic hair clips are in, whether they are rhinestoned, have big pearls, or crystals. Headbands are also making their way back, especially the padded headband, that a lot of other bloggers are wearing. Hair scarves are very versatile when it comes to stylizing your hair, too. Headbands and head scarves can make you feel like you're in the 70s. The 80's scrunchie is here and here to stay. I really am digging the 80s at the moment because of Queen and Stranger Things, so the wear I get from scrunches has dramatically increased.
Thanks for reading! I hope everyone has a great and fashionable school year!
