Oh my goodness! I can't believe it's the one-year anniversary of Blue Rhapsody! So much has happened and so much has changed in my life! I know recently I've posted a lot less, but I'm still proud of myself for not giving up on it completely. Sometimes, it can be difficult trying to balance your attention between everything, especially when you throw school into the mix.
I started this blog on Lunar New Year, and it was suggested by my aunt who I had lunch with that day. It was something I was questioning for a long time. Questions I asked myself were: Would I have time? Could I actually come up with ideas and write good content? And was it actually possible? And the answer is yes! I took up the challenge and made my website and posted my first post on that day, February 5th, 2019.
People have asked me if they should start their own blog and which to I replied "Go for it!" And to you reading this, consider it. Write about things that matter to you. Truly express yourself and your ambitions and burdens. Give yourself those moments to be who you truly are, because life doesn't always give you those opportunities.

I believe everyone should write. It doesn't matter if it's just for fun or just for your eyes or everyone else's. I think it's the best thing for a person to let everything out. The human mind can only take so many thoughts. It'll make you realize things about yourself that you have never noticed, and you become more attentive to the world and gravitate towards so many new ideas. I think it has changed me for the better. This blog is one of the only things in my life that I can truly call mine. It makes me feel grateful that I have this thing that gives me some feeling of good that can't be described in one singular word, a mix of hope, happiness, confidence, empowerment, liberation, and companionship. I hope my readers can feel the same way when reading articles to how I feel when I write. This blog was built from the ground up by just me and my words. And I think one of the most amazing accomplishments in life are when you make something that you are genuinely proud of.
I am so happy to have this platform where I can really express my love for films, fashion, traveling, and life. I'm so thankful to all the people who have shown their support and love for the blog. I hope this year to bring you great content. And I already have some things lined up so get ready! Thanks for coming along.
