Hey there! For the past couple of weeks, I've been binge-watching so many shows, and today, I wanted to share with you my favorite shows that are perfect for a summer day-in.

Stranger Things
The newest season of "Stranger Things" has just dropped on Netflix, and I finished it in two days! All three seasons of the show are so amazing. It's set in the 80s and has the perfect nostalgia vibe. It's full of great acting, comedy, romance, and fighting. It's basically teenagers fighting supernatural monsters. What more can you ask for?

When They See Us
This is based on a true story about The Central Park Five. It's a limited series, containing only four episodes and produced by Netflix. The acting, from both the kids and adults, is some of the best there is. It doesn't hide from the realness and consequences of this famous case. It's a must-see for anyone. It's a cultural and historical lesson of how racism and prejudice changed the lives of five teenagers

The Society
Netflix has just dropped the first season of this original, and I literally stayed up until five a.m. to watch it all. A bunch of high schoolers come back home from a field trip to find their town completely empty. They must balance the issues of running a town, their personal issues from their high school days, how to survive, and how to get back. It deals with some strong themes as they manage having no adults and still being young. I cannot wait for the very next season, because I need some answers.

Mr. Robot
To summarize, the show stars Rami Malek, who works as a cyber-security engineer by day and a vigilante hacker by night. He is recruited by a mysterious man to destroy the corporation he’s paid to protect. His character has conflicts with his motives, the people in his life, and himself. It’s mind bending and very compelling. It’s available on Amazon Prime. Season four will soon be released on USA Network, and I cannot wait!

Euphoria
This is the newest show to hit HBO and is a great showcase of Zendaya’s talent. She plays a drug addict, returning to school after spending the summer in rehab. This show is very raw and has probably the most mature themes out of this list, so it’s not for everyone. The show also follows other teenagers who go to the same school and have their own weird issues. Season one is stilling airing on HBO.

Pose
Season two of the show is currently airing on FX, but you can catch the first one on Netflix. It is one of the best shows that I have ever watched. It is set during the 80s, surrounding the drag ball scene. It sends messages about family and inclusivity, during a time when LGBTQ+ and African Americans struggled. It has a fantastic cast, including the amazing Billy Porter. It also touches on the AIDS epidemic and its devastation. It is such a fun show but impactful to the heart.

Dynasty (2017- )
It’s a reboot of an 80s soap opera that follows a wealthy family. This version contains current politics and a more diverse cast. It’s got drama, romance, and schemes. It also shows the dark side of wealth and business. There's some great comedy in there, too. You can catch the first two seasons on Netflix while the third is airing on The CW.

Bodyguard
Starring Richard Madden, this Netflix Original follows a war veteran who has to protect a politician who he doesn’t necessarily agree with. This show has a lot of tension and gave me some anxiety because of it (but good anxiety I guess). It involves multiple terrorist attacks plotted in London, all involving Richard Madden’s character. If I could have a favorite television show episode ever, it would be the final one of season one. Just go watch it!

Sherlock
All the current seasons are out on Netflix. A season five has not been announced, though. Each season averages about three episodes. It stars Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman in a contemporary adaptation of the Sherlock mystery stories. It’s incredibly hilarious. I won’t expose any specific details, but this show has the best villain. It’s crime and mystery with an arrogant and overly smart Cumberbatch. It’s perfect.

Sex Education
Based on the title of this show, you should know that it’s better for mature audiences. It’s a British Netflix Original. It details teenage problems with intimacy, relationships, and friendships. Otis, the main character, acts as a sex therapist at his school while trying to maintain his own personal issues. It’s very funny but also an emotional rollercoaster to say the least.
